Temporary runway advisor
Alec is the constructor of the human powered aircraft “Dash” which has been flying successfully in California. A version of that aircraft named “Le dash” is now being constructed by Bordeaux university.
Alec has lead John Edgley’s “Aerocycle” aircraft team successfully in UK human powered flight competitions.
Alec will be our advisor on the construction of a temporary runway on beaches if that is to be our take-off site for the competition. Alec has successfully built and used these runways, made of plywood which can be erected within an hour.
